Clouds and overcast skies can be a big plus on a bass lake. When there's less light on the water, fish are notas wary and are more likely to leave their holds and prowl for food. They will respond to a much wider strike zone, though they will still stick close to prominent structure. They will also be more likely to hit lures on or near the surface. You don't need to be quite as careful with your presentation, and you can move your boat a little closer to the areas where you think fish are located.
